Lord, take my eyes and give them to the blind
Show me the lost so I can go and find
Give me the hungry so I can give them bread
Give me the unknowing so I can tell them what you’ve said
Take my clothes and give them to the naked
Life gets tough, but I know that we can make it
The journey gets tough and we all grow weary
But I know I’m fine, because the Lord is always with me
When I fall down He’s there to pick me up
Lord, give me the thirsty so I can fill their cup
To fill them up with who You really are
Tell them how Your love reaches around so far
Give me, Lord, the crippled and the lame
So I can tell them all about Your great name
Give me the broken, the cheaters, and the killers
So I can tell them all they pursue are just fillers
Fillers just to fill the gap of You
Because deep down we all know Your love is true
We feel it tugging at our soul
There’s something in our hearts and You begin to pull
But we try to brush it off, like we don’t feel it
But without You, Lord, we’re just split
Split into two, just trying to find the rest
Little do we know that our lives have always been so blessed
Blessed through the victories and through the storms
Because through it all Your grace always performs
So, Lord, give me those who are like who I was
And I can tell them what all that searching does
Tell them of it’s broken promises and the tempting roads
I missed with the first bullet, but I was ready to reload
You came and took the gun right from my hand
You said, ‘I know that you are broken, but I can make you a new man
I can give you a new heart, can give you a new mind
Give you some new eyes, because you’ve been walking around so blind
You were searching for things that just don’t matter
But I am here to give you a new platter
The option is yours, take it if you please
But I am here and can cure your disease
I can make you good, I can make you great
Because eternity with Me, that is just your fate’
