Destiny

You tell me that I can’t do all the things that I’ve wanted
And those have been the words in my nightmares, leaving me haunted
But it’s a new year, and it’s a new me
And there’s gonna be new things that you're gonna see
Things this world has never imagined
But I was created with those things envisioned
I am on this world, but will never be a part of it
I may walk the ground, but I will always be apart of it
I was sent here to do the work of the Lord
And you all tell me this sounds absurd
But that’s because you let this world consume you
Let it convince you that this is the only life that’s true
That there is no eternal living after here
But, truth is, that eternal life has always been living so near
My destiny is to show you that great place
To show you all of the Lord’s ways
The mission that has been carried since the beginning
Since before this Earth ever started spinning
Before the births of Adam and Eve
I just want to get this whole world to believe
We don’t need to see the wind to know it is blowing
We have never seen the wind but its there, we all are knowing
This machine that we call human beings
Have so much destiny that the Lord was seeing
The free will to be whoever and whatever we want to be
He doesn't throw Himself on you or me
He just waits for us to finally call His name
And from that day forward we will never be the same
With the Lord possible is anything
Because He is the creator of everything
So when you say that I can’t do something
I’ll show you I can do everything through the King
