Letter to God

Dear God, I don't know exactly who you are
Or why you seem to be so far
Like you're in the distance hiding away
If I yelled would you even hear anything I say? 
Because I am down here feeling so alone
And your current destination is unknown 
The tears begin to drop down my face
My heart is broken, I'm left looking for a replace
My mind corrupted by what I see around me
With all this destruction I am wondering how you can ever be
I am left, with no hope at all
Every time I feel things are going right, I fall
How can you allow this? 
You watch over everyone, but why is it me you always miss?
You say that you will never abandon
Well then can you tell me where you've been? 
I guess that's all I really have to say

PS I don't know if you are even real
But if you are can you please fix this brokenness I feel

Dear son, I hear your pleas and I hear your shouts
I know your skepticism and I know your doubts
I know you feel that I am never near
But I want you to know that I am always here
When you cry, my tears fall harder
Tears fall in masses to flood the earth's water
I know this world is full of pain
But believe me, those who hurt here have eternity to gain
Because I don't come for the rich, I come for the poor
Because eternity with me can offer so much more
All those times you fell to the ground
It was me who picked you up and carried you around
Please don't feel abandoned, because I will never leave
I love everyone whether they do or don't believe 
This world is corrupted, but my kingdom is not of this place
It once was, but was forgotten with little trace
So this place became the place of evil
But eternity of wonders for you is in my will
I love you, my son, until the very end
