He Answers

You're saying you're hurt, you cant go any further
You're too tired, you can't go on
To that He says, jump on my shoulder
I can carry you along

You say you're thirsty 
But you don't deserve a drink
To that He says, you're worthy
I don't care what anybody thinks

You say you're hungry, you haven't eaten in days
It's been so long since there's been food on your plate
To that He says, I don't know what you've heard of my ways
But my kitchen is always open, you don't have to wait

You say that you are lost
That you have fallen off track
To that He says, I know where you've been tossed
And I am here to bring you back

You say you've been doing it all wrong
And that you don't know how to pray right
To that He says, stay strong
And keep running towards my light

You say that you are too bad
That you don't deserve grace
To that He says, I know the life you've had
And I am here to forgive, love, and embrace
