You say you've seen to many things go wrong
And youve seen these things for way to long
That everything around you is broken

And this life has given you to many fears
You say that you are surrounded by hypocrisy 
That we wouldn't believe all that you've been forced to see
That this world is filled with too much hate
That there is no way you can ever have faith
That there is too much wrong for anything to ever be right
That there is too much darkness to ever see the light
That life has cut you just too deep
Your life is a sad book, just read it and weep
Life has kicked you to your knees, but never to pray
His rules are too strict for you to ever obey
You've been humiliated and laughed at
You've been pushed down and had trash thrown at
You feel alone in this world with no chance
And you're just looking for anyone to take your hand and dance
You look for love in all the wrong places
Your life is a book, but you're only in the early pages


Christ came down for people like you
He doesn't care about what you do
He doesn't care about where you've been
He came to wipe away all sin
He doesn't come for the healthy and the rich 
He came for those who reek with stench 
He came to stitch up your wounds
To take you out of your entrapping tombs
He came to free you from your cage
He came here to turn the page


The world is filled with evil things
And pain is what this world will bring 
But He came to offer us so much more
He has eternity of serenity for us in store
He has come to free you from your current state
It is never to late
He is standing next to you, in you, and all around you
Accepting Him is all you have to do
And your past is wiped giving you a clean slate
And He gives you an eternal plate
To where you will never again go hungry
You will be forever filled with His word and peace
He came to give you love
To make you pure as a dove
To blind you from this world and set your eyes on Him
His light will always be bright, won't ever go dim
He doesn't say that it will be easy 
Doesn't say that pain is just history
Because you will still hurt and you will still cry
But He will now be felt on your side
He will carry you through the storm
Your heart of stone will become warm
He came down to make your life brand new
And the rest is up to you
