Find Your Path

Life's like a hike, we're all trying to reach the mountain top
So many paths, trying to pick left or right
There are forks that go different ways
Paths that just lead in circles
And you find your self just back where you started 
So it's time to get back
Or you just make your own path
Because sometimes it's not about deciding the right path
But just to decide at all
To decide to move forward
To decide to go on


Life is a hike but we don't all go in the same direction 
We go off the path and build our own
And the mountain is now filled with paths
Each path unique to the hiker
Some go safe and just follow a predetermined hike
No creativity added
Just a follower 
But those who go off the path
They are the creators of their journey
Of their destiny, of their timing to the top
Whatever that top is 
Wherever you decide the peak is


Life is a hike to no particular destination
It's just a journey
Create your own path to your serenity
To where you find peace
The mountain top is where you say it is
Go on the path, go off the path, switch paths
Do whatever path you want to do
