Live It

We speak these words that we don’t live by

Like we are living some big lie

Speaking of how we’re a Christian

But when we’re at church we’re not listenin’

To the passage and its meaning

We lie there, eyes open, but day dreaming

Then leave with a conscious so clear

Then go live a life impure

Chasing after things this world has corrupted

We go in with good meaning, but it gets interrupted 

But we don’t give that a second thought, we’re forgivven

Doesn’t mean we have to go with this life we’re livin’

Christ came down, giving us a second life

Stabbing our old ones with a knife

Knocked them down, out of existence

Took away the chains of resistance

Tore out our heart of stone

Giving us a new life, new body, just a clone

Same looks, but repaired on the inside

Say goodbye to your old self, he’s gone off and died

New body with a new mind

With Jesus on your side to help you through the grind

New eyes, no longer blind

New thoughts, thanks to a new mind

So many questions, He is the answer

Don’t let the doubt eat you up like a cancer

He’s the cure

He came down and death is what He endured

So dont just say you believe, live it

Live it so loud the whole world can hear it

So all this love from Him that you feel throughout

Live that way from the inside out
