Make Me You

I sit here worshipping like its just me and You
Trying to listen to what You want me to do
Looking for what You want me to peruse
For what will bring light upon only You
Show how You lived Your life with Your death in mind
In hope that You would be what we would all find
Because we all search, but sometimes were are searching blind
And without You we may not be strong enough for the grind
But when we grow weary you carry us forward
You came to share with us Your Father's word
To show us our true Lord
But many said you were absurd
Not from this earth, You were given hate
But You overpowered for You were too great
We may have never lived for You before, but it's never to late
Because in the end You are all of our fate
We can run, but we can never hide
In the end Your word is what we all want to abide
This whole life is filled with so many strides
But we won't know where to go without You, our tour guide
So I am here, to say I want to follow You
I want to do every thing you want me to do
I know that all Your words are true
Please stick to me like I'm covered in glue
Take me and make me new
