My Mission

Living for God has become my only mission

He’s got me fully, I am under submission

I am submerged in His grace

Just living for the day to where I can see His face

Just living in His light, hiding from the night

He has sent us all here to continue in His fight

Fight for mercy, love, and forgiveness

For us to all unite in a perfect bliss

To bow down before our creator

To come to know our true savior

To live for Him in all that we do

Because, Lord, all we want is You

So hear the words that I pray

That the whole world will hear the words You say

Lord, allow You to be behind my every action

Because without You I am only a small fraction

We all need You to become whole

But the devil has got us all fooled

Saying that we are content with these worldly pleasures

But compared to You these things don’t even measure

He’s telling us that we need a huge money pile

If we can ever truly have a smile

But, Lord, You say that you come for the poor

You want the ones who love You to their very core

To where You are our only idol

This one fact is so very vital

We can place no other above

Because You are the one who gives us all our love

I’m on my knees, Lord, pouring out to You

Give me a task that You want me to pursue

Head bowed, eyes closed, trying to hear

I feel You so near

Feel you filling me from within

Releasing me from all my past sins

Grace bestowed on me, so undeserving

I’m here, Lord, here for serving

Daily I will pick up my cross

Because without You, Lord, I am lost

So, Lord, give me my cast to cast Your people

Collect them all for Your steeple

Lord, I am here to serve

Because all of me is the least that You deserve
