It's Me

You tell me of all these guys who don't treat you right
How they are only using you for the night
How there are no conversations, it's just physical
And at the end you are just miserable
You are just looking for someone good
So I give you words of inspiration that you seem to have misunderstood
Because the next night you are back with the same guy
Living just one big lie
Trying to live in denial
Just doing anything for survival
You say you wish the right man would come out in the clear
And I just want to yell out he is standing right here
The one man who knows your every flaw
Has seen you when out come the claws
Who has seen you cry yourself to bed
But you still pick those other guys instead
And I'm just left out in the cold
But you come running back, broken, just looking from someone to hold
So I stay here, my mind not spoken
My heart has slowly become broken
Because I am just left in the shadow
These feelings you never will know
You say you want to change your ways
But it remains the same every single day
Maybe one day you will see me in front of your eyes
And stop living this life of lies
 I will wait here until you see
That who you want has always been me
