I don't know what I'm doing, not even in the slightest
Trying to live a life that is so righteous
But I lose my ways, and take my eyes off the goal
And go back to living life like a fool
When I close my eyes, I see it all going right
But when they open, I lose sight of the light
I look all over, for where it must be
But then I realize it is hidden in me
That in me is the power that I need
In ever single vein of the blood that I bleed
Inside my heart, is the love that I search for
All I need to do is open up the door
And release it out, let it take over my being
And live the life that in my dreams I am seeing
A life that is lived to the fullest
Not trying to be the kid that's the coolest
But to live this life for giving, not for receiving
To live a life of truth, not for deceiving
So I dig deep, and find what I'm missing
So I can finally live this life that I've been wishing
